Name: Leyna

Date of Birth: That would be classified

Current Residence: Australia

Favorite TV Shows?

Currently running: SGA, Supernatural, Torchwood, NCIS

What inspires you to draw?

Only my subconcious knows - and it takes inspiration from everything. In general, though, I love painting portraits.

Which is your favorite Season 1, Season 2, Season 3, and Season 4 episode?

Season 1 - The Defiant One
Season 2 - Grace Under Pressure
Season 3 - The Tao of Rodney
Season 4 -

What are your fave shippings?

Let's just say I prefer to watch Sheppard & McKay snark at each other and bicker, to watching any other combination of characters.

What advice do you have for those other artists out there?

Have fun :)

Which is your favorite Atlantis moment?

Too difficult ...brain hurts! Ask an easier question :)

How long have you been watching Stargate Atlantis?

Since the first episode - and I loved Stargate SG-1 as well. Long time SF fan.

How long have you been drawing?

Ever since I can remember.</div>

    Name: Elizabeth Scott

Date of Birth: January 22, 1989

    Current Residence: Catonsville, MD

    Favorite TV Shows?

Stargate Atlantis, Stargate SG1, Star Trek Voyager, Battlestar Galactica, Law and Order Criminal Intent, Law and Order SVU, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and The Colbert Report

    What inspires you to draw?

I love doing fanart, because I want to do something with the shows I love (and I am really bad at writing). I really love dramatic light and shadow and drawing is a relaxing thing to do that helps me deal with stress.

Which is your favorite Season 1, Season 2, Season 3, and Season 4 episode?

    Season 1: Before I Sleep
    Season 2: Duet
    Season 3: The Real World
    Season 4: Trio

    What are your fave shippings?

    Shweir and Beckett/Cadman

What advice do you have for those other artists out there?

Practice, experiment, and just have fun with it.

Which is your favorite Atlantis moment?

Beside all the wonderful shippy moments in the various season, I love it when my two of my fandoms collide in this conversation...
Keller: Steve Carell or Stephen Colbert?
    Carter: Uh, Colbert I think.
McKay: Carell, but I would pick Jon Stewart over both of them. If I was forced to.

How long have you been watching Stargate Atlantis?

How long have you been drawing?

For as long as I can remember.

~*~Jennifer Keller/Jewel Staite~*~

Sat Feb 7, 2009, 12:12 PM
~*~Jennifer Keller~*~

~*~Jewel Staite~*~

Date of Birth: June 2, 1982
Birth Place: White Rock, British Columbia, Canada
Birth Name: Jewel Belair Staite
Height: 5' 5½" (1.66 m)
Spouse: Matt Anderson(25 April 2003 - present)

Born in White Rock, British Columbia, Jewel Staite knew she was destined for the screen at the tender age of six. Her first calling was fashion, but as most fashion executives are prejudiced against six year old designers, she decided to temporarily move into the acting field. A dozen commercials, made-for-television movies, and guest starring roles later, she appeared as the spunky Saturnian alien “Catalina” in the short-lived sci-fi series “Space Cases”, on Nickelodeon. Numerous television appearances followed, including a lead role in “Flash Forward”, starring Ben Foster, as well as “Higher Ground” with Hayden Christensen, and several recurring roles on “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!”, Canada’s “Da Vinci’s Inquest”, and NBC’s “Just Deal”. to name just a few.

To her fans, her most memorable role so far has been “Kaylee”, the beloved mechanic on Fox’s “Firefly”, which later became the major motion picture “Serenity”, in which Jewel reprised her role. Since then, she has signed on as the head of medicine on “Stargate: Atlantis”, which can be seen on the Sci Fi channel Friday nights at 10pm.

Trivia

Originally auditioned for the role of Rosie on "Space Cases" (1996), which went to Paige Christina. She later got the role of Catalina.

Is the youngest of seven children, and lives just three blocks away from her parents in Vancouver.

Has been involved with AIDS Project since her uncle died of the disease.

Her favorite hobbies are traveling and writing.

Had to move from her hometown of Vancouver to Toronto during her two year run on the Disney show "Flash Forward" (1996), one of the better shows for young people of the 1990s.

In Vancouver she joined in the ground-breaking ceremony for an AIDS memorial where the names of AIDS victims in the area will be permanently memorialized.

Gained 20 lbs for the part of Kaylee in the TV series "Firefly" (2002). When the show was later adapted into a motion picture (Serenity (2005)), the show had been over for a little while and she had lost the weight. She was told that they weren't going to give anyone else the part anyway, so she didn't have to re-gain the weight.

Was featured on the preteen video/board game "Party Mania".

She played the role of "Catalina" on "Space Cases" (1996), a show that featured a space pirate named "Reaver" played by Chip Chuipka. She played "Kaylee" on "Firefly" (2002) which featured a race of people called "Reavers", also with malicious intentions.

In 2006, she appeared at the Armageddon Expo in Wellington, New Zealand.

Personal Quotes

"It was a tough job getting mouth to mouth from David Duchovny but somebody had to do it". Commenting about her appearance on "The X Files" (1993) episode "Oubliette" (1995).

"I love acting because it allows me to be as many different people as my imagination can conceptualize, and I can spill my guts, bare my soul and be a bitch without actually offending anyone in the real world."

"If it were up to me, how would the characters' relationships conclude in Serenity 2? Okay. Hypothetically speaking only. River and Zoe really hit it off, fall in love, and decide to form their own renegade girls-who-kick-ass space team and leave us in the dust; Mal realizes he's more destroyed over Wash's death than he ever thought and spends the rest of his days wearing Hawaiian shirts and drinking booze out of the engine; Simon and Kaylee have a set of genius triplets and turn the ship into a cocker spaniel search-and-rescue with "crazy Grandpa Mal" still at the helm cradling toy dinosaurs; and Inara finally realizes the potential in Jayne as a male companion, loans him a toga, and takes him back to the training house where they become King and Companion Queen...you know you want that sequel!"
